The SJVCEO had a successful week down in San Diego for the California Climate and Energy Forum. There is truly nothing better than gathering together in person and discussing innovative ways to further our goals in clean energy. Team SJVCEO presented on three different panels throughout the course of the 2-day conference and saw great turn out at all three. Through the Public Works program, EDA provides catalytic investments to help distressed communities build, design, or engineer critical infrastructure and facilities that will help implement regional development strategies and advance bottom-up economic development goals to promote regional prosperity.


The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) State Energy Program (SEP) provides funding and technical assistance to states, territories, and the District of Columbia to enhance energy security, advance state-led energy initiatives, and maximize the benefits of decreasing energy waste. SEP emphasizes the state’s role as the decision maker and administrator for program activities within the state that are tailored to their unique resources, delivery capacity, and energy goals.

Prepping for Energy Awareness month

Tomorrow begins a new month and to make even better- October isn't just a month to celebrate ghost and goblins it is Energy Awareness month! Join the awareness movement by reading up on energy efficiency actions you can take at your facility or office, then sharing your efforts on social media and through other channels!

In order to stir ideas into action during energy awareness month SoCalREN is offering ⚡supercharged ⚡ incentive rates for energy efficiency projects completed in 2022! Speak to us or your SoCalREN Project Manager about how to maximize your cash incentives and bring your energy efficiency project within financial reach. Eligible equipment includes HVAC, HVAC controls, interior lighting, exterior lighting, retrocommissioning, building envelope, heat pumps, pumping, and process optimization, and more!

Get your Heat Pump Hot Water Heaters
(While they’re still HOT!)

Our PG&E public agency partners, we have some exciting news for YOU! CCEW’s companion program- GK12- is continuing their Heat Pump Hot Water Heater offering. If you are looking to take those first steps toward building electrification or simply looking for opportunities to electrify your water heating, this program is the one for you! This includes low-cost and, in some cases, no-cost heat pump water heaters for PG&E customers. This offering is especially great for facilities such as community centers, recreation centers, police departments, libraries, and museums. Gotta get them while they are still available so reach out us or our partners over at Willdan to learn more!

Fast Chat

SJVCEO’s monthly “Fund-It Fast Chat” series featured the The Regional Climate Collaboratives (RCC) Program as it’s highlight for the month. The RCC Program is part of the state of California’s Climate Budget which is SB 170. SB 170 funds ambitious measures to build climate adaptation and resilience through planning, research, capacity building, restoration, and sustainable infrastructure.
