Driving into 2025 with EV Programs!
How is it that we are already approaching December? It seems as though we ask ourselves the same question each year! This year has flown by, and one of our favorite parts was, of course, EV October. Our goal during this month (and every month) was to educate our communities on electric vehicles' benefits and the resources to support them. Check out some of our favorite highlights from this month and see if an electric vehicle is right for you.
While this particular story is not tied directly to electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle programs, I think it is still an important story to share during “EV October.” And that story is one that I am sure many people can relate to, searching for and purchasing a new car.
I want to call attention to a topic of conversation that has been circulating amongst my closest colleagues. This topic has to do, in part, with why EVs are not selling with the fervor we originally thought they would; particularly in the San Joaquin Valley.
October- the month of spooks and scares! However, the SJVCEO is not about frightening you this month. Instead, we are laser-focused on one thing, and that is EV October. We know that there are a lot of different programs out there, and it can be difficult to navigate them all. Luckily, PG&E is helping us with that through our PG&E EV Info Session series. We sat down with various Program Managers from PG&E to discuss the details of the PreOwned EV Rebate Program and Residential Charging Solutions Program. Check them out below!
In addition to the PG&E EV Residential programs, we have also covered a variety of EV topics from procurement, public sector programs, and much more! Check out a few of them now!
We spoke with 2 utility representatives about their EV charging infrastructure programs. In the first video, I am joined by guest Tim O’Neil, who walks us through PG&E’s EV Fleet Program and in the second video, I am joined by guest Omar Faris, who takes us through SoCalEdison’s Charge Ready Program.
