Residential Charging Solutions

Through this program, income-eligible households receive a $700 rebate on PG&E-approved electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment. The program supports residential EV charging while minimizing costly electrical upgrades. Equipment must be from PG&E’s pre-approved equipment list and purchased on or after November 17, 2023! The rebate applicant's name and address must match the equipment's proof of purchase receipt, income verification documents, and the vehicle owner's or lessee's name and address.

Multifamily and Small Business Direct Install Program

PG&E, in partnership with Ecology Action, will install Level 1 and Level 2 EV chargers at multifamily housing (MFH) units, not-for-profit organizations and small businesses, at no cost for sites located in a priority community. The program includes an education campaign for site residents and employees to increase awareness about the charger installation and other EV benefits and incentives. Check out more here!
