What exactly does it mean to “endure” something? It means, not only, to remain in existence but to suffer through adversity. My song selections for the month embody this concept just as much as the artists that created them. If you’ve had to break rules to pave the way for people after you, work hard for everything you’ve accomplished because nothing comes easy, or strive obsessively to reach your goals no matter what obstacles are presented, you can be said to have endured. Admittedly, I turn to these songs when I am suffering… err “enduring” a workout, or when I just need a little motivation.
