SoCalGas Joint Local Government Partnership Webinar
Just a couple of a days ago, the VIEW Partnership, Gateway Cities COG, and the San Gabriel Valley COG hosted a webinar for SoCalGas public agency customers. During this webinar, we were able to engage directly with our partners, share best practices, and even have some friendly competition with EE Trivia. The California Climate and Energy Collaborative (CCEC) is launching monthly Local Energy Resources Network (LERN) meetings every second Tuesday from 11 AM - 12 PM to exchange knowledge, resources, input, and opportunities to help California local governments pursue their energy and climate goals. AirNOW AQI Toolkit for Teachers K-8
Compiled by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), this Toolkit provides teachers with easy-to-use and engaging lesson plans, additional activities, and other resources to teach students about the connections between air quality, health, weather, and other related science topics, as well as actions students can take to protect their health and reduce air pollution. The lesson plans in this Toolkit meet Next Generation Science Standards and can be easily incorporated into school curriculums. From teachers guides to student handouts, it is all there for you!

Southern California Edison invites you to become an e-SMART kid. Becoming e-SMART means learning about electricity and how to use it safely. California Department of Park and Rec: Adventure Pass
Children’s physical, mental and social-emotional well-being is a priority to the State of California. Studies indicate that access to parks and greenspace can lead to improvements in children’s physical well-being, social/emotional learning and academic outcomes. In partnership with the First Partner’s Office and the Natural Resources Agency, the California State Park Adventure Pass provides free entry for fourth graders and their families at 19 amazing state parks throughout the state.
