Holiday TWINKLE on SJVCEO's December Spotify!
It’s become a tradition to leave our winter holiday wishes to Neil Gaiman. We’ve yet to find someone who can express our sentiments any better than he does. So, this year, just as before…
“May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art—write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.
Courtney’s Picks:
Last Christmas was hard for our team. Individually and collectively, we struggled with the weight of expectation and carrying traditions that didn’t quite feel like our own. It felt exhausting, like obligation more than merriment. So, this year we’re taking the coming holidays in our own ways…we’re shedding what was and embracing what is. We’re celebrating where and with whom we choose. We’re allowing the year to come to an end by our own terms so we can enter the new with the energy of hope. And that is what I wish for you. Hope for all that lies ahead.
2000 Miles, Pretenders
Christmas Day, Dido
Christmas Song, Dave Matthews Band
Ave Maria + Intro, eleven, Chris Cornell

I will admit, I started my Christmas music listening A LOT earlier than usual this year! Was it because Thanksgiving was early? Maybe. I just felt I needed the extra spirit to help push through the end of the year! For this round of holiday songs, I chose some of the classics but also had to sprinkle in Taylor Swift because it is her world, and we are living in it! Happy Holidays y’all!
Pennies From Heaven, Frank Sinatra, Count Basie
It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Andy Williams
Christmas Tree Farm, Taylor Swift
Winter Wonderland, Mary J. Blige
Rochelle’s Picks:
