Staying “Resilient Together” in the San Joaquin Valley

It is no secret that the San Joaquin Valley experiences a variety of climate related events year after year. Hotter temperatures, power outages, or wildfires are just a few that we see happening in our own backyards PG&E wants to hear from you to ensure that future climate planning prioritizes those who are most vulnerable to keep communities safe!

The SJVCEO is partnering with PG&E, as part of its Resilient Together Advisory Group (RTAG) which brings together community-based organizations (CBOs) that work with and/or on behalf of San Joaquin Valley vulnerable communities. The RTAG has been developed to help PG&E engage and reach communities in the development of their Climate Vulnerability Assessment plan. The plan is a critical first step that will help PG&E provide the San Joaquin Valley region with safe, reliable, affordable energy in a climate-altered future.

Take this quick survey to share how you and your community deal with extreme heat, wildfire smoke, and other climate issues. Your feedback will inform PG&E’s planning and decisions related to climate resilience and infrastructure, helping to create a safer, more equitable, and reliable energy system.
