CCEW | Audits by the Sea

SJVCEO was on the road last week to visit one of our Central California Energy Watch (CCEW) public agency partners, City of Carmel-by-the-Sea. During our visit we were able to meet City staff as well as conduct walk through audits at various city facilities. Our team loved being able to tour facilities ranging from the Harrison Memorial Library to City Hall and learning about the historical background of the city.

Walk-through audits are an offering through the CCEW program. These audits are free of charge and allow SJVCEO staff to learn about the equipment, maintenance and operation which in turn shapes the energy efficiency opportunities we present to the partner. By doing this, we work with staff to then create a short- or long-term plan for the partner. We can’t thank Carmel-by-the-Sea enough for the warm welcome and we look forward to working together to help the city save!
