Got Grants | Part 4

Just last month, we were able to highlight a variety of funding opportunities through our Learning Bundles- please find a couple those grants below as well as some additional opportunities! Whether looking for funding to improve your community or increase your energy efficiency, the grant to help may be on this list!

1. Community Air Grants

Who: Special District, Nonprofit Organization, Tribal Government

What: The purpose of the Community Air Grants is to provide community-based organizations with logistical and technical assistance to support their efforts in improving local air quality. Projects are intended to further the purposes of AB 617 and AB 32 by designing and executing projects that build capacity in communities through supporting community-based organizations’ and community members’ participation in the Community Air Protection Program. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis.

When: Deadline- 10/1/2021

How Much: Maximum amount- $300,000.00

2. California Resilience Challenge Grant RFP

Who:  Eligible local California public entities (including California Native American Tribes), non-governmental organizations, and community-based organizations to respond

What: Support of climate resilience planning projects, with a preference for projects that will lead to implementation of resiliency infrastructure. Selected proposals will be for specific planning projects that will commence on or before July 31, 2022 and are to be completed by July 31, 2024

When: Deadline- September 13, 2021

How Much: expectation that individual grants will be awarded for between $100,000 and $200,000,

3. American Rescue Plan Act Economic Adjustment Assistance

Who: State, county, special district, city/township governments, 501 C3 nonprofits, Public and State controlled institutions of higher education

What: Grants made under this program will help hundreds of communities across the nation plan, build, innovate, and put people back to work through construction or non-construction projects designed to meet local needs. A wide range of technical, planning, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and public works and infrastructure projects are eligible for funding under this program.

When: March 15th, 2022

How Much: Total: $500,000,000 (award ceiling: $10,000,000 and award floor: $100,00)
