PARTNER UPDATES

City of Tulare: City has project approval for a pump upgrade in one of their wells. Project is moving forward and hope to have a project success story to publish soon!

City of Visalia: City was presented with a Comparative Energy Analysis from the SoCalREN team. They were able to identify opportunities and abnormalities in their energy data. A large takeaway from the meeting was that a few city facilities had a spike in natural gas consumption during COVID-19. Because of this, our team in now investigating current equipment for opportunities to flatten the consumption.

City of Barstow: City personnel have met with the SoCalREN team to go over their Comparative Energy Analysis. From this analysis, we discovered that there is high consumption in a handful of facilities which will now undergo energy audits to identify saving opportunities. At the same time, the city is looking to pursue a microgrid at one of the facilities. The hope is combining a solar development with a need for backup power at an emergency command post. Hopefully, exciting news to share soon!

City of Lindsay: We are working with the city to process rebate application on a natural gas pool heater that has been upgraded over the last year. At the same time, we are also looking to upgrade a larger pool heater at the same center that will undergo custom rebate applications. We are excited for these developments and hope to share the outcomes with you all soon!

Kings County: We are currently gathering all county data so we can share some insights into saving opportunities when we hold a welcome meeting with the county.
