2021 has arrived which means Southern California Edison’s time of use rollout is in full force. TOU plans can help you manage your energy costs. By taking advantage of lower rates during off-peak and super off-peak periods, you can avoid higher weekday rates when energy resources are in demand.

Here are some helpful tips for Time of Use rates:

• Electricity prices are typically lower early in the day, overnight, and on the weekends

• The new TOU 4-9PM and 5-8PM plans offer low prices while the sun is shining and solar power is contributing to the power grid

With a TOU plan, you can potentially save energy and lower electricity bills by using renewable energy when it’s naturally available.
