Could Calif. become a center for green jobs?

Officials at UC Davis hosted a panel to address that question, and California's governor responded with an enthusiastic "yes."

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger touted AB 32, which requires the state to cut carbon emissions to 1990 levels by 2020, or about 15 percent. Opponents are trying to kill it with a ballot measure.

Here's what The Sacramento Bee wrote on the Davis event. We at the San Joaquin Valley Clean Energy Organization have been following the AB 32 issue closely.

The San Joaquin Valley Clean Energy Organization is a nonprofit dedicated to improving our region's quality of life by increasing its production and use of clean energy.
